We are looking for a Senior Project Manager/Business Analyst (MS Project) -- Austin/Tx
Candidates should posses the following minimum knowledge and skills:
Technical Skills :
(i.e., language, database, applications, software, hardware, certifications etc.)
3-5 Years experience utilizing Microsoft Project to manage large development efforts
3-5 Years Project Management Experience
3-5 Years experience managing resource utilization and budgeting for IT projects
3-5-Years Application development experience
Non-Technical Skills:
Highly organized and great task management
Strong verbal communication skills
Experience with the complete Software Development Life Cycle
Demonstrated success and strong problem solving abilities
Demonstrated ability to work within an established timeframe to complete tasks
Ability to work well in a Team environment
Experience managing projects with outsourced/offshored components of work
Nice to Have Skills (Skills that would be beneficial but are not required)
Technical Skills :
(i.e., language, database, applications, software, hardware, etc.)
Experience with Rational Suit of tools (primarily ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Rose) is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Project's EPMS implementation
Skilled with standard Microsoft Office suite of tools, i.e. Powerpoint Presentation
Development, Visio, Excel, Word)
Siebel Call Center or Loyalty product experience
Non-Technical Skills:
Strong written communication skills
Strong oral communication skills Airline Industry Experience

Job Responsibilities & Expectations of Candidate:
(i.e., on-call/pager, % maintenance vs. development, etc.)
This position is for a member on the Customer Loyalty and Contact Apps Team.
Primary responsibility is to manage a cross departmental project plan for a large program, integrating all impacted teams into one plan.
This individual is expected to adhere to and practice established Southwest Airlines Technology development methodologies.
Team information (i.e., size of Team, Team make-up, future projects, Team strengths/weaknesses)
The focus of the Customer Loyalty and Contact Apps Team is provide support and enhancements on the Rapid Rewards program and front end applications that support Customer inquiries.
