Payroll Manager
Position Summary
International organization that is experiencing tremendous growth is searching for a strong Payroll Manager to join their team. If you are a technically sound payroll professional and interested in making a real impact, then this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities
The Payroll Manager will oversee the payroll processing function and handle all reporting for US operations as well as Canada and the UK. In this role, the Payroll Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Supervise all payroll staff for the US, Canada, and the UK.
• Ensure that payroll is processed on time and accurately.
• Oversee and report on the 401k audit.
• Review and approve commission payouts.
• Review and authorize all payroll entries.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and maintain payroll schedules.
• Oversee the travel and expense staff.
• Review and authorize all journal entries for expenses.

Recommended Qualifications
Our client prefers candidates with a strong understanding of accounting issues and the motivation to make process improvements within the payroll department.
Core Skills:
• Excellent analytical capabilities, including a strong understanding of accounting issues.
• Strong ability to communicate in a clear manner.
• Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Ability to develop comprehensive recommendations in efforts to improve the business
Specific Requirements:
• At least three (3) years of direct payroll experience in a leadership capacity;
• General accounting experience is a plus;
• Bachelors/Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus, but not required;
• ERP experience is preferred;
• ADP experience is preferred;
• Strong Excel skills. |
