VICE PRESIDENT - ACCOUNTING

Dynamic energy company with multiple subsidiaries seeks a VP Accounting with a broad range of experience and skills in operational and financial accounting.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for all accounting, internal and external reporting, as well as financial planning, budgeting and analysis. Specific responsibilities will include:
• Day to day leadership, management and development of the accounting/finance staff.
• All internal management reporting as well as external reporting for the corporation.
• Insuring appropriate policies, procedures and controls are in place and up to date.
• Supporting the Chief Financial Officer with external financial matters and relationships.
• Close and regular interaction with Division Controllers and other key executives to provide information and analysis to enhance operational performance.
• Direct supervision of Division Controllers.
• Cash and asset management.
• Integration of acquisitions.

Qualifications
|
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years solid senior level accounting experience in the oil and gas or energy services sector.
• Excellent communication skills. Must be capable of dealing with all levels of personnel in the organization, as well as, third parties.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and accounting software |
