Operates, monitors, and controls a mainframe computer, and related peripheral equipment. Monitors console or terminal, storage devices and printers and reports problems or variances. Analyzes operating instructions to determine equipment settings and operating procedures. Reconfigures systems components when individual units fail. Maintains machine performance and production records. Typically reports to Data Processing Operations Supervisor. Installs, configures, and maintains the organization's LAN server and workstations. Manages performance and maintains security of LANS. Works with multiple hardware and software platforms at an intermediate level.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
Minimum of 6 – 18 months experience in data entry or performing similar duties
MAC & PC user.
Possess accuracy in data keying.
Good communication skills in both oral and written.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results
